New Home with FORMANCE SIPS

‘’Caleb and the team at Mt Grey Building built our SIPS (Structural Insulated Panels System) home for us. Caleb had never used the SIPS system before but I felt he went out of his way to learn and adapt and not just be negative towards it. There were a few technical difficulties with a new product which he was able to overcome with his problem solving abilities.’’ Caleb had:

• Great communication. Pretty much always answered his phone (which is a miracle with some tradies!)
• Was always flexible to our ideas and willing to change and adapt the plan to suit us.
• Caleb was very upfront about budgeting issues and went out of his way to help us out where he could.
• The workmanship by the entire team was top notch and the building site was generally kept clean and tidy.

As to the FORMANCE SIPS product the end result speaks for itself. Here is what we have found after living in the house for nearly a year.

• Healthier home which is both dry and warm-we have had no issues with our kids being sick this winter!
• Home is an even temperature all year round! Cool in summer and easy to warm and retain its warmth over the winter.
• Acoustic values…if the kids are in their rooms playing loudly, the noise doesn’t effect the rest of the house-pretty well stays confined.
• We have used a lot less firewood this year due to the fire heating the entire house efficiently. We no longer have need of heaters in every room which saves massively on our electricity bill!!!
• A few smaller things-we don’t have to find studs to hang pictures on-we can put them wherever we like. The walls are solid so the kids can’t ram toys through them.
